Cottonwood Hunt Club
Colorado Hunting Ranch
Cottonwood Hunt Club located in Crawford, Colorado on the Western Slope of Colorado. The Western Slope of Colorado Pheasant Hunting Ranch has been maintained since 1990 as a private wildlife reserve which has provided habitat for Pheasants (annual breeding), Ducks and Geese, Dove, and Wild Turkey. Cottonwood Hunt Club is home to big game including Trophy Mule Deer and Elk which winter in large herds on the Cottonwood Ranch and Kennel. Various wildlife have been seen on the Cottonwood Ranch and Kennel including Bald Eagles, Golden Eagles, Hawks large and small, Sand Hill Cranes, Badgers, Bear, Mountain Lion, Coyote, Bob Cat, Beaver, Muskrat, and Raccoon. Bald Eagles have been seen in the large Cottonwood Tree with herds of elk in the early morning hours and ducks flying in for water and feed.

Over the past eighteen years my family and a few friends have enjoyed our own private paradise of Western Colorado, since 2008 we have expanded our Colorado Cottonwood Hunt Club. Our members are invited to stay in our beautiful 3600 sqft custom newly remodeled hunting lodge, and enjoy the experience beautiful gourmet meals prepared from wild game from the ranch. Guided Colorado pheasant hunts with the members dogs across the ranch. Duck and goose hunters will enjoy guided hunts at our Cottonwood Hunt Club private blinds during the Water Fowl hunting season. Cottonwood Hunt Club will emphasize the outdoor experience in a very private setting that is unequaled in its natural beauty, and first class developed facilities.

In 2008 Cottonwood Hunt Club committed the entire Cottonwood Ranch and Kennel to the wild life habitat. Cottonwood Hunt Club on the western slope of Colorado has transformed the entire Cottonwood Hunt Club hay fields into a pheasant hunting and upland bird hunting field of dreams standing waist high in tall cover creating a pheasant hunting field of dreams. Pheasant and Upland Bird Hunters will not have to compete with any domestic stock for feed. Our farming practices this year have been entirely focused on habitat improvement across the Cottonwood Ranch and Kennel, developing thick cover, feed, and live water.
